CONCORDIA from above. The American collective Team BlackSheep has flown its drones over New York and Dubai. But the video that resonated most with internet users was filmed in Italy, off the Island of Giglio, above the wreck of the Costa Concordia. For this mission, the team spared no expense: they deployed two drones, which filmed one another as they flew, then together surveyed the stricken cruise ship. By July 2015, two years after this documentation flight, the video had attracted nearly 800,000 views on YouTube. This is not journalism in the strict sense. The team undertook the mission to promote the drones it manufactures.
