This app, although basic in its design, can be a valuable tool for radio journalists and podcasters. It allows you to save only the audio from a video you have recorded with your iPhone or iPad. The app pulls the video from your phone’s camera roll and places it on a large blank screen. From there, you simply tap the ‘Use’ button in the top right-hand corner to extract the audio from the video.BThe audio can then be saved under a chosen name, deleted, or sent by email. Once it has been extracted, the audio is stored only within the app’s white screen and not in the iPhone or iPad camera roll. Building in this second option as well would make the app even more convenient.
